Changing Your Dial-Up Number



In addition to changing the dial-up number you use, your username must end in "@ezwv.com" in order to successfully connect.



Windows 95/98
  1. Open 'My Computer'
  2. Double-click 'Dial-Up Networking'
  3. Right-click 'EZNET' and choose 'Properties'
  4. Enter the new EZNET dial-up number for your area
  5. Click 'Ok' and close 'Dial-Up Networking'

Windows Millenium (ME)
  1. Open 'My Computer'
  2. Double-click 'Control Panel'
  3. Double-click 'Dial-Up Networking'
  4. Right-click 'EZNET' and choose 'Properties'
  5. Enter the new EZNET dial-up number for your area
  6. Click 'Ok' and close 'Dial-Up Networking'

Windows XP Home
  1. Click 'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel'
  2. Double-click 'Internet Options'
  3. Click the 'Connections' tab
  4. Click 'Settings' then 'Properties'
  5. Enter the new EZNET dial-up number
  6. Click 'Ok' three times then close 'Control Panel'

Windows XP Corporate
  1. Click 'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel'
  2. Double-click 'Network and Internet Connections'
  3. Double-click 'Set up or change your Internet Connection'
  4. Click 'Settings' then 'Properties'
  5. Enter the new EZNET dial-up number for your area
  6. Click 'Ok' three times then close 'Control Panel'

Mac OS X Jaguar
  1. Open System Preferences, either from the Dock or the Apple Menu.
  2. Click 'Network'.
  3. Find "Show:" and click on that drop-down box and choose 'Internal Modem' if it's not already shown.
  4. Remove the telephone number in the box and then enter the new one you should use.
  5. When you're done, click 'Apply Now'.
  6. You can close System Preferences by pressing Command-Q or by clicking 'System Preferences' in the Menu Bar and then clicking 'Quit System Preferences'.
